Peter Tosh decides to conclude this terrific album with a song that differs from every other tune off of Legalize It. For a difference, Tosh seem to have looked to lead guitar lines, odd rhythmic patterns and a larger role for backup singers. Apparently, the man had made a smart decision; his outcome is great. Brand New Second Hand" concludes Legalize It very nicely. Ultimately making the album quite consistent.

Album · 1976 · 10 Songs. Bubbling with buoyant, laidback rhythms and sweetly infectious melodies, this solo debut from former Bob Marley & The Wailers member Peter Tosh made him a reggae legend in his own right. Though he would later explore a more hard-edged tone, the chilled vibe rolling throughout these tracks has a special place in our hearts. Tosh’s musical joy shines through on the playful Ketchy Shuby, the bouncy Burial, and the politically charged title track, which instantly became an anthem for pro-marijuana activists around the globe.
