Symphorce : Twice Second. Heavy Metal, Germany (2004 - Metal Blade Records) Узнать больше. 9. two seconds to live. I open my eyes and all I can see is Upon the horizon the darkness in me If all we see is all to believe This shall now awake the power in me. You better turn around and walk away Are you sure that everything will go your way I'm not here to heal your wounds not to forget You're so confused my words will break you back. My wisdom lies in flames You better get out of my way It's running through my veins As I'm screaming out your name.

Symphorce Twice Second. ARTIST: Symphorce ALBUM: Twice Second RELEASE DATE: 26/01/04.

I first met Symphorce at the concert when they played in support of Sonata Arctica. Despite the high temperatures the band left a great impression. I didn’t know them before that evening, but their performance blew me away. After that show I didn’t dear anything from them except for 2 Seconds to live, the only song we remembered from the concert. And then, all of a sudden at my birthday party, my friend gave me this album, Twice Seconds, as a present. It surely isn’t a bad album, pretty cool actually. Strong points are at first the production, which is really clear but still very heavy, due to the guitar sound which is really heavy, especially for a powermetal band. Second good thing are the vocals. Not the standard high sound, but rough&tough. I really like those, as Andy B. Frank’s voice perfectly fits with the mood of the album.

The fourth album by Symphorce, 2004's Twice Second, is the culmination of ideas first explored in the German quintet's previous releases. Unlike the majority of their countrymen working in this style, Symphorce have little interest in Scandinavian style death metal; instead, their clear antecedents are Queensrÿche's progressive tendencies and Iron Maiden's skill at adding the occasional pop hook into their music without ever coming even close to Def Leppard-style cheese.

SYMPHORCE - TWICE SECOND - METAL BLADE This album kicks off with a strong opening statement and remains much better than the last album which was lacklustre. In contrast Twice Second is both. heavier and louder, with the keyboards pushed back and the sound more powerful than ever. It is as if the band has gone through a metamorphosis. Tears presents the new Symphorce.
