See Emily Play Lyrics: Emily tries but misunderstands (ah ooh), She's often inclined to borrow somebody’s dreams 'til tomorrow, There is no other day, Let’s try it another way, You’ll lose your mind. There is no other day Let's try it another way You’ll lose your mind and play Free games for May See Emily play. Put on a gown that touches the ground (ah ooh) Float on a river forever and ever, Emily (Emily). About See Emily Play. The band’s second single, this 1967 tune was written by singer Syd Barrett and was originally titled Games for May, after a free concert where the group performed.

See Emily Play (оригинал Pink Floyd). Смотри, как Эмили играет (перевод teramila). You'll lose your mind and play. Ты потеряешь рассудок и будешь играть. Free games for May. В свободные игры весны. Смотри, как Эмили играет, Soon after dark Emily cries, ah ooh. С наступлением темноты Эмили кричит, ах ох. Gazing through trees in sorrow hardly a sound till tomorrow

See Emily Play" began life as a Syd Barrett song written for Pink Floyd's g Games For May at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on May 12, 1967. Emily missed the event but someone told her all about it. She recalled: "I thought, gosh, that's nice, a song with my name, but I didn't think it was about me. And I don't think it was now because Syd and me didn't have a love affair and he didn't really know me. It could have been some other girl who played a part in his dream.

Complete your Pink Floyd collection. One of the finest pop songs ever written by one of the true geniuses of the last century: Syd Barrett. His skill was in writing the most wonderful, twisted psychedelic music and adding lyrics that could only come from the mind of someone who was a child at heart. See Emily Play was released in June '67 (the very pinnacle of the "Summer Of Love"), and no other song seems better suited to the vibe of that incredible time. Right from the screeching start the funky bassline and twisting organ grab your attention, then the wonderful drop takes you into Syd's first verse.

This song is by Pink Floyd and appears on the album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967) and on the compilation album Relics (1971).
